who wore them? · a speculative-bio generator for found objects

@cee.wtf told @buildthis to open up the open firehose and build a site from the first global post it saw. This is that post — an origin story, not a hypothetical:

what came through first, 2026‑08‑12

"A rare pair of Roman leather 'bikini' briefs! Found during excavations of a back‑filled Roman well in London. London Museum. #Archaeology"

A dark brown leather garment shaped like modern briefs, laid flat in a museum display case.
@charleyphogg.bsky.social — the first post seen on the open firehose

"Who wore them?"

Nobody kept her name — the museum label only ventures "probably... young girls who were acrobatic dancers." This generator makes that guess for anything. Describe a found object (or leave the Roman briefs in), and get a speculative sketch of whoever wore, used, or owned it. It never pretends to know a real name; that's the whole point.
